I fell into recruitment on a working holiday to the UK over twenty years ago and love what I do and am proud to be a career Recruiter.
I spent over five years in the UK working for a consultancy called Martin Ward Anderson specialising in the placement of temporary/contract professionals. Largely placing antipodeons into middle office roles within the financial services sector in the London market.
Upon returning home to Sydney I joined Hamilton James & Bruce in 2002 and was promoted to a Manager position for Legal & Compliance and have specialised in this area ever since.
I have since further developed and refined my skills and continue to grow my network. I have consistently performed at a high level and pride myself on my knowledge of the industry and the assignments that I have successfully placed over the years.
I have been working within the legal, risk, compliance and the company secretarial industry for over twenty years and have recruited for a number of large and boutique financial services institutions, including all facets of banking, funds management, wealth, broking and financial planning and distribution as well as other blue chip, professional services and highly regulated corporate environments.
I made the decision to establish Atherton Davis to get back to what I love, which is hands on recruitment. I look forward to providing a personalised service and helping my clients find exceptional talent and for my candidates to find rewarding and career defining roles.
At Atherton Davis, Kimberley recruits in house legal, compliance, risk, and company secretarial across all sectors. Before embarking on her recruitment career in 2016, Kimberley practised as a lawyer both in private practice and in-house in Sydney and London for almost a decade.
Having practised both in private practice and in-house, Kimberley understands the needs (and challenges!) of her candidates and clients. She enjoys fostering strong relationships and is genuinely excited when she finds the right candidate for her client and the right role for her candidate.
When she’s not at work, Kimberley enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two children.
